As Founder and Managing Director of Integris Ltd, Stephen provides strategic and technical direction across the company’s Managed IT, Cybersecurity and Intelligence services.

He works closely with clients to understand their operational requirements, identify technology-related risks and translate complex business needs into practical, sustainable and commercially appropriate outcomes. His role combines executive leadership, technical oversight, service development and direct involvement in significant client engagements.

“Effective technology must be practical, sustainable and capable of delivering measurable value within the realities of the organisation.”

Stephen brings more than 30 years of experience across information technology, systems engineering, service management, entrepreneurship and higher education.

Before establishing YourITDept, the forerunner of Integris, in 2004, he held a number of senior technical positions within industry. His work focused primarily on systems design and engineering, project management, technical support strategy, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Throughout his career, Stephen has developed a strong reputation for dependable service delivery and for his ability to understand the relationship between technology and day-to-day business operations. He has played a central role in shaping Integris around proactive systems management, early risk identification and the prevention of avoidable disruption.

His professional interests extend beyond conventional IT management into knowledge continuity and the application of artificial intelligence within smaller organisations. His doctoral research explores how knowledge can be identified, preserved and made more accessible through the use of emerging technologies, particularly within micro-enterprises.

Alongside his industry work, Stephen remains actively engaged in academic research and higher education. He has published and presented his research at IEEE conferences in Kraków, Lisbon and Astana, where he also delivered the keynote address, and has published in the International Journal of Operations Management. He also contributes to higher education through lecturing, research supervision and MSc dissertation supervision across computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, artificial intelligence and knowledge management.

Stephen’s vision for Integris is centred on steady, sustainable growth without compromising professional standards, client relationships or the quality of service delivered.

He holds an MSc in Business Information Systems Management and a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
